I was just wondering if anyone has good advice for nightlife and stuff to do in Seoul, Korea. I will be going there Thursday for ten days and I want to make the most out of my free time there.

Meh, so I grew up there during the Summers. . .

Since you will be in Seoul, the only gay area is in a place called Itaewon. It's basically the foreign area (because of the American military base, etc. . . ). Koreans are crazy if you're unaccustomed to the culture. . . I'd say drinking starts at like 7pm with some delicious Soju at dinner. Then off to the bars. . . The best ones in Itaewon @ Homo Hill are Why Not, Queen and Almaz (Though this one is pretty hidden away). They'll pick up around 11pm/12am.

At 2am Pulse opens up off the main strip (not where all the gay bars and such are) and gets really, really crowded. Every time I've been there I've been the closest thing to being white haha, it's not that it's not foreigner friendly persay, Just packed full of Koreans and mostly Korean music and Korean "performances." The great thing is that everyone pretty much speaks English so you'll make some friends REALLY quickly.

I have some videos of Queen and Pulse on my Youtube channel if you just want to see what they look like:

Not very good videos, but you'll get an idea of what it's like.

If you take the trains, remember the last train is at 11:30pm really and they don't open up again until 4 I think it was? So take a Taxi. . . but be careful because they love to just drive around for $$$ -_- Ugh.
