    Thankfully Queensland gave up on DST years ago. I never liked it.

    I like it better than standard time... by far... the only issue is the time we change. It used to be in April, with the move to March, sure the daylight in the evenings are longer, but the morning adjustment is a pain to say the least.

    And I'm somebody who gets up early!

    In a couple of weeks it will be easier.

    I wonder what confusions would be caused in places like Australia and Brazil, where at some locales DST is observed and at others it is not.

    In Europe, btw, it doesn't start until 27 March for 2011.

    I hate the jump forward. For the next week it will be "morning of the living dead" at my place.

    Also, be careful on the roads tomorrow. I read somewhere that tomorrow is the day with most accidents in the year.
