"Speaking at an event held by the Republican Liberty Caucus on Saturday, Bachmann invoked the founding fathers and offered a historical account in lauding the early presidential primary state.

"What I love about New Hampshire and what we have in common is our extreme love for liberty," she said, according to Politico. "You're the state where the shot was heard around the world in Lexington and Concord. And you put a marker in the ground and paid with the blood of your ancestors the very first price that had to be paid to make this the most magnificent nation that has ever arisen in the annals of man in 5,000 years of recorded history." "

Note for foreigners not up on Amer. history: "In fact, the 1775 Battles of Lexington and Concord that marked the first military engagements of the American Revolution took place in Massachusetts."

She probably got confused because of Concord, New Hampshire. Bachmann also mangled up when she said the founding fathers worked tirelessly to end slavery. For a woman who screams the loudest about her love for America, she has shown that she knows so little about it.

Anymore, I'm not at all amazed at what ignorance or truth stretching comes from this Bachman woman, she's too dumb to realize that she's no longer impressing the masses, the more she opens her mouth with this kind of speach, the more she's defeating herself. Its almost like she and Palin are running a race to out "stupid" each other. Look whats happening to Palins approval rating and anyone notice how the better share of her fellow congressmen shy away from her? The Dems don't have to do much but repeat their own words and watch them sink themselves and mar their own causes.
