NCAA TOURNEY SELECTION: Ohio State, Kansas, Pitt & Duke Number 1 Seeds.... What are your predictions based on bracketology?

I thought Colorado got really ripped off. It's a good team.. beat Texas and Kansas State 3 times.. and they didn't make the cut.

Interesting, I'm going to study it, but my final four based on this:

Kansas, Ohio State, Duke and a sleeper team... not Pitt.

Sounds like the Southeast bracket could have some real upsets!

Yeah, the Southeast bracket is full of dangerous picks. I would not underestimate Pitt though. Looks like Izzo may surprise everyone, as usual. Doubt the Jimmer has enough support to get past St. Johns.

I just want to say that the Hokie nation has EVERY RIGHT TO BE PISSED. It is just ridiculous.

Comng from the heart of the ACC, I like the Tarheels chances in the East and I think Duke is very vulnerable if they can't hit threes like they did in the title game today.

    ------------------------------
Amending this a bit, so as not to confuse, I don't think Carolina will get past Ohio State, but they have a good chance for the Elite 8.

Sorry to come to the dance late here, and I truly don't follow college basketball but.....what about Florida?

And where is Butler in all this anyway????

How did Florida get a #2 seed? I was hoping Kentucky would get a 3 seed. Oh well-Go Big Blue!

11 teams from 1 conference I think is simply absurd! Colorado Alabama and St. mary's shoulda got in VCU.. really?

Yeah Colorado for sure and Va Tech for second. BC I don't think deserved a bid and I didn't expect it. St Mary's maybe even Harvard deserved a closer look than UAB.

As for the final four, Kansas and Ohio St seem to be the teams to beat. They are both playing well enough to make the final four. Duke is hot and cold. They need to focus more on points in the paint. The ACC tourney delighted me but also surprised me. UNC was playing so well going into the tourney but really just limped into the finals where Duke destroyed them. HOW SWEAT IT IS! Before the tournament I was thinking UNC could be a final four team. They still may be a sleeper. ND is another team to watch. They were playing really strong. Duke has to get past San Diego St who has beaten everyone they've played this year. I think Pitt has the easiest number 2 seed in FL.

Syracuse, Duke, Notre Dame, and Kansas State...I have Duke winning it all, but I'm not completely sure. Watch out for my Bearcats to be the sleeper team!

I haven't submitted my bracket yet, but I am thinking a rematch/showdown of the Jayhawks and the BlueDevils with my Bluedevils taking it all.

mine are Belmont over Wisconsin, Richmond over Vanderbilt, Missouri over Cincinnati, Marquette over Xavier...and really those last two are not big upsets. I think Temple can take out San Diego State in the 2nd round.

I think Princeton has a shot at giving Kentucky a run for their money, want to see how that first 5-10 minutes plays out.

I agree, I have MSU making a long run like they always do, but for some reason they have been a major disappointment all year

Injuries have been very crucial, they weren't able to play as a team until after the season began, most teams played during the summer together. Tom Izzo is also the most respectable coach and kicked off 2 starters for not following his rules. You woudn't see any other coach except Coach K do that. Bill Self slapped his player on the wrist. Still its funny how nobody even mentions them and how Pitt has such an easy road.

Izzo's a good coach, but we don't need to go calling Coach K respectable for year after year of teaching his players to flop on the floor and whine like little babies. last season we saw less of it, lo and behold, they didn't go out of the tourney in the 2nd rd like usual.

btw theres about 30 videos on youtube of dook players doing this over the last 8 years. coach k is the common denominator.

    Don't sleep on ODU.

The Monarchs could very well end up in the Sweet 16.

Virginia Tech ... and this pains me to say because I love the Hokies ... should've beaten UVa and BC at least once.

And, Duke vs. Notre Dame in the Title Game.

The Buffs got screwed. I might not even watch this year's tourney since the selection committee blew it and let in some scrub teams over a deserving Colorado squad.

I agree, with their overall and their Big 12 record, what happened was really more than being snubbed. They got ripped off.
