So I went to a gay bar for the first time with a friend and his friend's wife icon_razz.gif

It was interesting lol There was a drag show that went on for a while. There were some hotties but the bar also had a lot of straight women and straight couples. It was apparently not their busiest night and no one really danced at all.

I am not really into that whole culture and scene and I am still not. The only way I would go to a club/bar is w/ friends and to dance and not want to meet a bf or sex.
I have danced at clubs b4 and just remember dancing and not even caring about other people lol

BTW, the guy that went w/ me was the guy who sold me the car I currently have now lol He is not on any website and has a bf

So I have met him b4 and trusted him enough to guide me lol and not to ditch me or flake icon_razz.gif

I hate gay bars. If you want to have any semblance of normalcy, don't get into the habit of going to them.

It all depends on your comfort level. I was 29 the first time I went into a gay bar. It was totally seedy but the only one I knew of.

The place was very dark, blacked out in some areas where guys were having anonymous sex.

The bartender was old, burly and only had three fingers on one hand. He followed me into the bathroom and offered me a blowjob the first time I was there... yuck.

I kept going back as I wanted to meet other gay men. Third or fourth time I had a total freaking hottie hit on me and take me back to his place BINGO!

The bar has changed ownership, cleaned up and is now a freaking happening place.

They are what you make of them. In and of themselves they are inert structures. You bring the fun, the frustration, the boredom or the joy to them.

Geez I miss some of the creepy bars in PHX.

Just the trashy-ness that you encounter is worth the story.

Reminds me of my youthicon_smile.gif and how lucky I amicon_smile.gif
