    I just found out there's no topic about her ! That's unacceptable ! icon_surprised.gif

She's phenomenal, she just had her second album, 21, out, there's billions of succulent remixes of her single Rolling in the Deep and she did an amazing performance at the 2011 Brit Awards.

    Check it out !

I watched the Brit Awards to see Rihanna's performance and I was AMAZED by Adele's performance of "Someone Like You"! She seemed so shy after she finished performing...

Her CD 21 is absolutely great! The tracks I love:

    Rolling In The Deep
    Turning Tables
    He Won't Go
    Someone Like You
    Lovesong

I do prefer artists live when they're in the moment and right mindset they do good things. e.g. Ellie Golding in the Radio 1 Live Lounge this weekend singing "Lights"

I love her but i worry if her early young success will eventually blow her flame out. Lets hope not because she's a true talent.

Thing I am worried about is her laryngitis - she lost her voice on the 21 launch tour a couple of weeks before her Brit performance.
What if it goes forever icon_sad.gif

I first saw her on Saturday Night Live and fell in love with her. Like ChocolateLuxe mentioned, she seemed very shy after her performances on the show.

I'm hoping to see her concert when she's here in May.

I love her, I just wish that since she is singing songs about my life that she would at least split the royalties

She has an unbelievably soulfull voice. I must have listened to and watched the video of Pavement a million times. Plus, she's about to start her tour and she's coming to Los Angeles!

There was a thread on Rolling in the Deep I think when it was released. Her album is ridiculously amazing. For anyone who does not have it (as in PAID FOR IT), shame on you!!! lol jk

But it is flawless. Pure emotion in all the songs. So talented.

Been a fan since her first album, by the way icon_smile.gif

She didn't exactly looked shy at the end of the Brit Awards performance, she was rushed with emotion and she started crying.

She reported "I was really emotional by the end because I’m quite overwhelmed by everything anyway, and then I had a vision of my ex, of him watching me at home and he’s going to be laughing at me because he knows I’m crying because of him, with him thinking, ‘Yep, she’s still wrapped around my finger.’” ”Then everyone stood up, so I was overwhelmed.”

I love the album, but the only thing I'd "reproach" to it, is the fact there's a lot of love ballads. I'd like to see her get out of her comfort zone and rock/funk the shit a little more ! I'm sure she could do it amazingly.

I checked out for her show in Vancouver and tickets are like 200$. That's CRAZY ! Am I the only one thinking it's too expensive ? I like her but... icon_confused.gif

LOVE her! I have "Someone Like You" on constant replay for the last week.

The Vancouver show is sold out. I found out too late. icon_sad.gif

However, tickets are available on Stubhub. There's general admission tickets starting around $150.

Hometown Glory is still one of my favorite songs. It always gives me this visual of walking through my hometown, being somehow entirely deserted, as the sun sets.

I love her voice... she's a smoker though. Hopefully that won't eff up her vocal cords.

Her new CD hit number 1 the week it was released a couple of weeks back. She wasn't expecting that sort of reception here. I had previously owned just a couple of tracks from her CD "19," but decided weeks ago to pre-order the full "21" on iTunes. I'm so glad I did. Her voice and songwriting, not to mention her covers, do not disappoint.

I just wish they'd release the Brit Awards version "Someone Like You" here. You can tell that she's fully expressing the original emotion behind the song. It's fantastic.

    I can't recommend "21" enough.

What more can be said about this truly gifted artist, so young and such raw emotion. At 21, I couldn't articulate emotions anywhere near what she spouts. "Set Fire to the Rain" is truly killing me along with "Someone Like You" and "Turning Tables" then she adds a little funk with "Rumor Has It".

My roommates and colleagues will be over me if they are not already as i've been playing them on repeat LOL. "Someone Like You" is giving me everything similar to how "Gravity" (sara bareilles) did last year.

Now only if i could get tickets to the Warfield.

I think I prefer the live version of "Someone Like You" to the CD version, which says a lot about how amazing she is.
