What is the best workout cycle/muscles to group together during workouts?

    As of right now I do chest/triceps (pull muscles) one day, back/biceps (push muscles) another day, and then shoulders and legs....I overheard someone in the locker room saying how they do chest and back alone on 2 different days and then do all arms (biceps/triceps) together so that they don't get tired out from doing back/chest beforehand....is this a smarter option? Is it really bad to wear out my triceps for example doing chest before hand? Will it effect my gains in my triceps if they are already worked out from chest and I can't put up as much when I do isolated triceps?

    I'd appreciate your insight!

    If i did chest and biceps one day and then triceps and back another...the downfall there would be I would have to rest in between more, considering I'm not working the same type of muscle groups on the same day..
