Not going to get into why I can’t use my school gym just know it has to do with meatheads…I’m looking for some good leg workouts that will actually give my legs a work out. I can do squats, lunges, swimming and running all day and not really get a good burn. Have always been an athlete and with soccer and swimming being the main two sports I always did I have a great amount of endurance and my legs are crazy strong for their size. I’m not looking to bulk up but to find a way to keep my legs in shape. I have really bad shin splits so when I run I have to stay on ground, nothing too hard, and my college keeps the pool overly heated (as in 70 or above) due to water aerobics and I can’t swim for more then 10mins without wanting to puke. Therefore trying to find some exercise in my room that will allow me to keep my thighs and calves in good shape while I take days off from running. I have 2 20lb dumbbells and 2 10lb dumbbells and can always add to my very small collection if there is something you guys recommend, thanks!

You say you can do squats all day, does that include front squats with the pair of 20s?

If so, there are unilateral alternatives like pistols and knee-touch downs and also things with unilateral emphasis such as split squats, bulgarian squats and front/back lunging.

Strap on a couple 10 lb ankle weights, lie on your back, and raise your legs high in the air. icon_twisted.gif
