How do you keep a friend with benefits just that much? Keep the friendship strong and manage not to get feelings on a relationship level?

Is that even really possible or a just a horrible Idea from the start?

True friends do not expect benefits from one another.

I'd love to know who "invented" this moronic phrase.... I mean, yeah, I'm old and maybe a little slow on the uptake at times...but WTF does this really mean??? What happened to old fashioned F*ck-Buddies??? icon_rolleyes.gif

No medical? Looks like you need friends with better benefits.

I wasn't going to show up because I don't like sounding like God considering this is God's subject matter....

If you are honest with yourself then you should know you are no better than your partner. Sex and friendship DO NOT MIX UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN IN THE PRACTICE LONG ENOUGH... Which I feel guilty about because I always have been testing both sides of the spectrum.

The answer to your question... All the good things in life and the bad things likewise exist in harmony. DID I EMPHASIZE HARMONY? Don't abuse the relationship like this because scrutiny can be destructive.

My advice, make up your mind what you want longterm from this guy. Decide now because he is ready to leave in my opinion. Especially if he feels like he is being tied down to a relationship.

The simple answer I have for you is to give and let go... YOU WILL NEVER GO WRONG WITH THOSE GUIDELINES!!!
