LMAO... I love the backtracking.. and these buffoons dont think the American public doesnt see this ?

    From the article:
Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner, New York, called out Republicans on the House floor Thursday morning for allegedly breaking their own rules, during debate on a measure that would strip federal funding for National Public Radio.

Weiner is correct in that 3 calendar days does not equal 72 hours if the time of day is not taken into account. But if you all are concerned with this transgression you should really be outraged about Obama's broken promises. If you haven't seen this yet, you will probably get very used to it as this and many, many others will be viral as part of 2012.

    Enjoy!

    LOL!
The Repubs have broken all their campaign promises - and I can ASSURE YOU - that there will be "viral" videos of the fast and loose flip-flops and shifty shenigans of the newly elected Repub House majority.

That's what happens when you're elected and you take charge!
You're held accountable for your actions.
And the Repub have given the Dems and the Obama administration a GOLD MINE of Repub BS to use in the upcoming election.

Not to mention the fact that the Dems will have the endless fumbling of the clown crew running for the Repub nomination to use as well.

I do have to give you credit. You didn't respond to the video with BS BS BS he did not break any promises. It's indefensible, but I thought you'd try anyway. Your tactic of deflection is probably the best you could go for, but there is much more fodder in 4 years of a president who has his track record both domestically and internationally.

And I had such high hopes for the Republicans. The way they just took charge when they gained control of the House, I really thought they were men and women of their word.

I can certainly sympathize with you. They said 72 hours and now want the interval to be only 3 calendar days, some hours short of 72.

Anyone who would watch that without great skepticism is truly a fool.

I'm going to need more proof than some kid from the AV squad scrawling "Lie #5" under each of Obama's statements using Final Cut Pro. icon_rolleyes.gif

You WISH that was the only promise the Repubs have broken.

In just 3 short months, the Republicans have managed to piss off almost every single American, over one thing or another, while Obama just keeps on smiling ........................ all the way to a landslide re-election, and guaranteeing that the Democrats will retake the House of Representatives. Count on it.

    Enjoy your wishful thinking.

    http://www.gallup.com/poll/146522/Obama-Weekly-Job-Approval-Retreats.aspx

The continued rise in gas prices could pose a real threat to Obama's public support. Gallup has noted that high gas prices typically bring down a president's approval rating, and indeed some of the lowest approval ratings in Gallup history have come during times of high gas prices.

Obama's re-election prospects will probably hinge to a great deal on whether the public perceives the economy to be improving. If high gas prices or other factors stall that recovery, and his approval rating remains below 50%, a second Obama term could be in jeopardy.

Which is why the Repubs in Congress and the right-wing propaganda machine are working feverishly to do everything and anything they can think of - to slow or damage our economic recovery.
They don't give a shit about the American people or doing the right thing - or putting "Country First".
All the selfish deceitful UNPATRITOIC Repubs care about is power and money and trying to get their lame asses elected.
Even if they have to DELIBERATELY HURT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE to do it

They do care about the country. The best thing for the country is to do everything legal to ensure the cancer in the WH is a single termer, and that is looking more likely with each crisis he fucks up.

    LOL!
Our current president is like a doctor who's been working to cure the country of a deadly cancer that was caused by 8 years of failed Bush/Repub economic policies.
It's a tough job - since the previous president was the worst in U.S. history, and he left the country in the worst shape it had been in since the Great Depression.

Agreed, driven first by Obama's skin color, which outrages Republicans to the point of insanity. A Black as President? HORRORS! Not a wealthy WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Christian) like us? Make him fail, no matter the consequences to the entire country.

Just so long as a Black doesn't pollute the White House any longer. There is your true motivation for this. The deep racial divisions in the US still alive, still driving our politics. The rest of the world sees it, if you read international news; I wonder why we can't ourselves?

How about they actually do their fucking JOB instead of playing politics about the next election cycle or who's a one timer or not.

BTW.. CONGRESS runs the country.... thats how this republic works..

And CONGRESS is worried about making the president a one termer? THATS NOT THEIR FUCKING JOB.

    Its YOURS buffoon!

Yeah, despite the fact that Arizona was originally Spanish, until the Mexican-American War of 1846 - 48 forced Mexico to concede the land. Then it was settled by Anglos, and became a US State. Whites are now trying to resist the demographic tide against them. Maybe they can wage a second Mexican-American War to reverse things. They are certainly trying, waging war against their own citizens of Hispanic origin. I know a lot of right-wingers here are cheerleading for them.

I feel real sorry for these WASP types.. Thankfully, I have lived on just about every continent and with just about every different type cultures all my adult life. I have no fear of those with differing skin color, culture or religions. What I DO fear is those of my own race and culture..that lack any view/experience outside their own country.
