LOVE the Pet Shop Boys. One of my favorite performances is when they performed at the Brit Music Awards with Brandon Flowers from The Killers and Lady GaGa - two of my other favorites.

    Here is the clip:

    Great video, sashaman!

When I owned my nightclub, this was THE favorite video of the years I had it. It was filmed by the amazing Bruce Weber and, even now, it brings me RIGHT back to that time.

Obviously, it was a little too risque for television airplay. icon_lol.gif

Edit and kind of a sad note. I remember some of my customers actually tearing up and crying when singing along to the verse "Now I sit with different faces in rented rooms in foreign places. All the people I was kissing... some are here, and some are missing in the nineteen nineties". This song helps to put that era in perspective.

Saw them once in LA. Shitty venue (Universal Amphitheater). But awesome performance. They know how to put on a show.

For a long time, I thought they were singing, "Western Girls" and "Eastern Boys." Finally found out it was "West End Girls" and "East End Boys."

I loved Pet Shop Boys when I first heard "West End Girls" for the first time in 1986. They're still in my list of favorites and some of the songs are in my "Gym Mix" on my iPod.
