Now you KNOW we'll hear "its an activist judge" from the righties in here.. its their standard retort. (instead of examining the actual basis for the ruling)

It seems like the WI Repubs are going to have to ram this legislation through with ZERO bipartisan support - against the wishes of a clear majority of voters - AGAIN.
    Talk about out-of-control arrogance.
Clearly, a recall is called for.

It's a shallow victory. It'll go through, but it will just be delayed

Sumi said her ruling would not prevent the Legislature from reconvening the committee with proper notice and passing the bill again.

Dane County District Judge Maryann Sumi granted the temporary restraining order in response to a lawsuit filed by the local Democratic district attorney, alleging that Republican lawmakers violated the state's open meetings law by hastily convening a special committee before the Senate passed the bill.

What lurks in the dead of night ready to pounce without a moments notice ?

Tis' I ....... You're Intrepid republican Wisconsin State representative !

Until I get overturned by a District County Judge who says I didn't do what was required of me by law
................. especially since I had a democratic representative shouting at me the EXACT same thing the judge cited in her restraining order
while I was rushing this bill through before anyone had even a chance to realize what was actually happening
