I don't like this video, it looks like he hurt the spider with that thing icon_sad.gif The little girl is adorable though. Reminds me of Boo from Monsters Inc.

Too funny. I don't mind the small spiders here but I can't imagine I would fair well with spiders that size running around. No thank you.

Me too, even small baby lizards scare me. I'm not afraid of spiders but I think something this big dropping on my face would scare me.

He said it was a hunstman, but the only ones I remember seeing back home that size were about as big as a standard jar lid..... yikes, I think if I had to capture/kill something of that size I would first take the time to come up with a more elaborate plan!!.... like, i dunno,.... im thinking some cruel things - but damn I hate spiders. Dogs I love, Spiders... no

You do remember accurately , they can be as big as 11 inches in diameter , i have seen also hairy Huntsmans , they were quite frequent in the Northern part of Queensland where i come from ......

Ok, that actually made me Jump. I hate Spiders of every size.

I actually got the impression that there are 2 types of People, those that hate Spiders and those that hate Snakes.

    Mmmmm...

I waited the whole video for the spider to jump/fall into the camera or over the guy. THAT would have been creepy!

Yes I know that spider don't jump icon_razz.gif

Spiders TOTALLY freak me out!....as a kid, I was bit once by a brown recluse. it is MUCH smaller than the one in the video, and looked very un-intimidating..hardly worth getting upset over...UNTIL about 3 hrs later and I got a fever of about 105, nausea, a blinding, crushing migraine, and then the bite location started to turn black and the skin died and started to crater into the skin.....I was bitten on my left leg on the side of my thigh. The crater was about 6 inches round, and got about an inch, inch and a half deep..... The pain was INTENSE! There was very little they could do to stop the tissue from dieing, so they just kept cutting the dead tissue away and kept the pain meds flowing....Took about 7 weeks for the tissue to stop dieing and started to heal....took about 6 months for the spot to heal.....I was 14 when it happened and I still have a scar and the area still feels like hot pin/needles......
I RESPECT SPIDERS! ...Don't need to be BIG and UGLY...Gets my undivided attention........
