have you noticed that your pubic hair is thinning out as you mature closer to the 50/60 number on your driver's license?

or is it just my imagination??

Yeah. The carpet is starting to match the curtains.

    Thinning? Nope.

    Peace,

Fortunately the Florida driver's license doesn't include a pic of the pubes. icon_razz.gif

Actually, yes, I noticed pubic hair thinning after I turned 60. The hair on my head is OK, except for some thinning at the crown, the scalp not showing yet. And hair on other parts of my body is also thinning.

At the same time, more hair is appearing on the tops of my ears (untrimmed I'd look like a werewolf), in the ear canal, and on the nose. And some of my chest hair, especially around the nipples, is getting bushy & grizzled, so that I've taken to trimming it back a bit with the trimmer I formerly used when I had a beard.

All part of the inevitable & sad aging process. icon_cry.gif

mch - thank you for the kind phrasing of "slightly older (over 40)" guys!

Never had much chest/body hair anyway icon_sad.gif -- and blondish pubes and pits staying blondish (unlike my silvery gray hair on my head)....

Pubes are not thinning, in fact I keep em trimmed back a bit. Head hair is all there still, lucky genes!icon_lol.gif

I started going a little gray back in college so today at 56yo I don't mind being almost totally silver. BUT what I don't like is the pure white hairs suddenly showing up in my still black eyebrows. They totally stand out. You can't pluck them or you'd end up with no eyebrows, so I let them stay. Looks very weird, to me.
Nose/ear hair: got it, pluck it.
Chest hair: proud of what little I've got.
Pubes: turning gray also, but not thinning. Probably could use a closer inspection. Any volunteers? icon_eek.gif

I have to "ditto" what was already said... still red and bushy .lol
However, I have noticed a few grey starting to appear down below. But.. the chest hair and the head hair are almost white and the head hair is all that is thin.

Can I use Nair on my ears? ROFL

I've noticed it. The two hairs that were on my chest since I was 14 have disappeared.

Oh my, this is a scary thread. icon_wink.gif

No thinning, but then again I still have a full head of hair. I suspect the opposite, I am losing the battle to hair growth in unwanted places and, while I'm not big manscaper, it is increasingly difficult to keep things neat and tidy down there. Maybe I'm just getting lazy as I get older.

Hair on my head is thinning.
    Goatee is graying.
Hair on my chest down to my pubes and ass crack went from dark brown to light brown but gotten hairier.
Hair is sprouting on my shoulders and back of my arms.
Grey hair is sprouting here and there in my dark eyebrows.
Hair is sprouting in my ear canals and outer ears.
Need a nose whacker for the brambles in my nostrils.

My solution is to Rogaine my scalp, pluck my brows and ears, tweeze/cut my nose, dye my brows, goatee, chest and pubes - not my ass crack, shave my shoulders and back of my arms, buzz my forearms and fingers.

I do leave the color of my hair alone...I like it gray.
