Just starting to plan a trip to Zion this September. This'll be my fifth trip, and bringing my older sister and young (gay) nephew for their first visit.

Hike the Narrows. Climb Angels Landing.
I could live and die in Springdale.

I've traveled a lot through the west and southwest, but this place just keeps calling me back.

So excited. Just had to share! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

    Fun!

Zion is probably my favorite park in the area. Others-- Bryce, Arches-- may be better known or make for pretty pictures, but Zion is so much fun.

You lost me with the 'live and die in Springdale' part, but I'd be willing to make frequent visits through town on my way to the great hiking trails.

Would have to be one of the coolest places I've been in the States! Loved it!

Zion is cool!! You can stay in a lodge there. I went with my aunt in the summer of 07

I took this pic when I did a little hiking

Beautiful shot. I think I have one taken in the same spot... On the bridge going to the Emerald Pool trail, right?

I haven't figured out how to add a pic to my posts, but my profile has my favorite shot I took hiking up the Narrows last October.

Will be doing some cayoneering with the Zion Adventure Co this time. Can't wait! icon_biggrin.gif

Honestly, if I tried to live there I'd probably die there. Not much work,, I'm sure, beyond the tourist business. But I love the restaurants and the whole feel of the town. Oscar's Cafe is da bomb! And the whole shuttle-bus system through town and the park is brilliant.

Love Zion as well, think they need more trails tho. I find a lot of the trails to be to "finished" I like back country and that in no way takes away from the beauty that is Zion ;)
