Will my RJ t-shirt become a collector's item?

My RealJock tee's are still my favourite workout clothing, and I am slightly disappointed that the entire brand never made it into gym bags, shorts, socks, shoes etc. I always get asked what brand I am wearing!

I guess that Jeff and the boys have diversified their business interests away from the RJ brand, but I wish I could buy RJ hoodies and even just buy some more of the great tees that I already have.

I wonder if my RJ wear will ever be recognised as a leader in the gay communities march into the cyber-age (non-sexual category).

    love cronks xx

    yourname2000 saidThere's RJ wear?? icon_eek.gif I would love that.

You could select a free item when you got a premium paid membership, until that status was discontinued. I can't recall if we could also simply buy the stuff. I've got 2 shirts because my original membership failed to automatically renew, since my debit card number had changed during the previous year and I forgot to notify RJ.

I had to begin a brand new RJ membership, and so I got another T. I thought that was kinda unfair to the guys who did automatically renew, since I don't believe they got another shirt each year. But maybe an RJ veteran here can tell us. After my second year the paid memberships stopped, all free now, and no shirts anymore to my knowledge.

My 2 T-shirts. I chose gym grey, but I think we could also have dark blue or something. The web address is printed on the back, just below the collar.

Dunno, I just purged my closet over the weekend. (Equalizing the number of garments and the number of hangers.) Anything with any kind of printing on it went. I ended up with a stack of Tees that I've been holding on to for years because, Gee Whiz, they could be collectors items.

Anyway, I put them in the guest room closet, in case I ever get the energy to put them on ebay. Or alternatively, in case a guest shows up naked. Come for the weekend, go away with a vintage Tee.

Yup, there were two types of clothing you could pick when you paid for the premium membership ($25 US as I recall)

You could get a dark blue muscle T with the RJ logo on the front and the small print website address up near the neck on the back

Or the short sleeve grey marle T (as shown in Art Deco's pics)

They are American Apparel in origin, but excellent design and wear.

I, like others, got my second free T because my membership ran out and I had to use a different card to renew, therefore getting another free T. I would happily pay for more.

My boyfriend and I have a ton of vintage tees that we cant seem to part with either, so we came up with the next best solution. We found an old lady who makes quilts, and she made the quilt panels out of some of our favorite t-shirts....we'll probably end up having about 3 or 4 more made.

How awful, I would never wear anything with a brand name on it much less a website logo.

I got the grey one, too. And like [most of] you guys, I'd buy more if there was gear available.

GASP! I would never consider working out in my RJ Muscle T ... it is only for special occasions when the guns need to be shown and they'll be appreciated.

I'm still not sure why RJ doesn't have an online shop. Obviously some guys want these t-shirts and are willing to pay for it. Plus, it might help them pay the bills to run the site.

Yeah, they could easily setup a store through zazzle and not worry about any overhead or direct cost. I wouldn't buy one but whatever.

I think you could probably find the RJ logo in some clip art somewhere on line, get some iron on printer paper, and make your own RealJock shirt.

Not only did you get a T/shirt as I did with our Premium payment membership, you could also buy them.

Footnote: one never missed a contribution from start to finish either. I think if they still had the financial contributions, one may still be verified too.

He makes plenty of money from this site. Based on how its ad real estate is structured, I'd say he makes a minimum of $7K per month on the low end. If he actually sells ad space then he could make $10K or more with ease.

Guys, it's easy to make t-shirts. I'm happy to make them if you pay me.

dekiruman saidwhoa where do you live? thats beautiful!

Fort Lauderdale area, as my profile says, on the Middle River. Nice to sit and watch the kayakers glide by, or the occasional alligator or manatee. Or Santa Claus at Christmas time in a parade of boats all lit up at night. The shirts are thrown over my partner's herbs he grows year-round in flower boxes, many more than in this shot, that he really uses in his cooking. He's got rosemary, thyme, scallions, 2 kinds of parsley, peppermint, dill, oregano, and I don't know what else, it's all confusing to me.
