Seems like my legs got a bit bigger and I already gave away 2 pairs of jeans however the rest of them Im still wearing them cause I havent bought new jeans but theyre also very tight.

Usually I buy jeans one size bigger than my waist size so 30-31 depending on the fit. My waist hasnt changed its size but my legs have. What do you do when this happens? Is there a way to losen up the jeans where your thighs are?

Here it is an idea of whats happening, the red area is the tightest.

That's a really good question, same here. Either my jeans fit fine in the waist and too tight around my thighs or too loose around my waist but just right around my thighs. With one pair you can see my wallet, keys, cellphone and anything else in my pockets, with the other I'm sagging/constantly readjusting or if I use a belt the waist bunches up.

Can anyone recommend a brand that's better fitting?

Yay denim question! It's not your legs, I'm sure they've gotten bigger, but you're just not buying the right fit, there are so many different cuts and fits depending on the brand.

Find a store that sells many different brands and go to town trying them on. If the staff is as well trained as I trained mine, they should be able to find the right cut or brand for you that look great and feel good. I personllay think Silver has some of the best all around fits for more fit guys, from my years of working with them.

My butt is bigger ( not complaining ) so it's hard to find waist size small enough to accommodate my butt.

That's what I do. If I see a jeans store in my travels that is not the typical chain brand store...I go in.

There's a store in Fashion Island Newport Beach, CA which I always go to when I have a business trip to Orange County.

try different fits and if that doesn't work, buy the size where they fit and take them to a good tailor to take in the rest

    sorry couldn't help it icon_lol.gif

is it possible to get a different fit, like boot cut jeans? the thigh/leg area is usually looser on those jeans.

    You need something that stretches.

If I had a nickel for every pair of jeans I've tried on in stores, I'd be a millionaire.

You look fashionable, so I'd try Diesel and True Religion since they make the widest variety of jean styles. If you want something to show off your hard work at the gym, you've got to have the right cut. But they're pricey...figure $100/pair at the outlet malls.

If you want to spend less, Abercrombie and Lucky are also good. But there are others out there. Spend some time at the mall searching them out. Also, check out guys with similar builds as you at the gym to see what seems popular.

Relaxed fit usually has more room around the thighs.

Unfort you gotta look for that extra inch size when you buy jeans. my legs are natural thick being 6'3 210, from a once skinny 6'3 180 i had to get new jeans as i went from a 33 x 34 to a 35 or 36 x 34 just to have the room in the legs. dont think you can fix the ones you have, try a tailor but the adjustment may be a hassle along with the price. either way remember legs are always hot on a dude, and you already hot. keep it up stud.

Here is a Groupon deal for custom-fit jeans. It says it is for Indianapolis, but it is an online store, so you can probably use it if you don't live there.

I've never used the site, so I can't vouch for the jeans.

OK - am I the only juvenile minded kid that thought that the OP pic was intentionally phallic and laughed out loud?

To the question - I have been not wearing Jeans much the first 30 years of my life because of the same problem. Now the Gap has about 1000 different cuts now - two different ones work for me.

Same issue. I kinda like my jeans a bit tighter. I hate lose jeans. The problem is the red area of the jeans charlitos pointed out in his diagram. New jeans that fit very nicely have worn out in the inner thighs causing the material to tear... They were expensive levi's!!! I'm wondering if I should bring them back. I bought them just end of Dec.

Background: this hasn't always been a problem. I injured my wrist a few months ago. Physiotherapist says its de Quervain's tenosynovitis.
I haven't been working upper body hard that aggrivates the wrist and therefore been focusing on cardio and legs. My legs exploded (in a good way), but now my jeans are tight on my inner thighs. icon_sad.gif

Guys I have had this problem my entire life, I will suggest Levi's 511, 514, or Matchstick. G-Star also has some great fits for this problem. They all work great for this issue
