We often argue who is the best; lady gaga, birtney, katy perry, rihanna or kesha...but theres no doubt who the real queen of music is today. Both of her albums have been genius, she has incredible poise, her lyrics pierce right through your soul, her voice is angelic , she is super confident, elegant, beautiful, smart.... and she is only 22. Let me introduce you to the queen......Adele <3

Love this girl. I'm dying to see her live. She's about to break Madonnas record of most weeks at number one. Now that is an accomplishment.

She sounds exactly like a couple of other female singers I've heard. For some reason I can't remember who at the moment.

Anyways, no. She's pretty far from the queen of music. She's good but she's just a princess.

In my opinion you're overreacting to Adele's music. There are many many female artists who have similar style to her and just because she's different than generic pop music doesn't make her unique.

I prefer Sia to be quite honest.

I do like her voice, but she sounds like that heroin addict mess from England, her name escapes me at the moment.

For an English songstress, I still prefer Alison Moyet.

I didn't give any examples so you're putting names in my mouth.

If I were to choose a queen of the music world, here she is:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_awards_and_nominations_received_by_Bj%C3%B6rk
and if you pay enough attention to notice, her first studio album was recorder when she was 11 years old. That's HALF the age of Adele.

I can provide more examples or you can just admit that Adele is talented but not the Queen.

Sorry to burst your bubble but she is hardly the queen of music, although she's pretty good but I haven't really jumped on the "Adele bandwagon". Although she has a nice sounding voice it's hard to put her on the ranks of say someone like Lady Gaga, who is not only talented in her own right but such a fierce advocate for the Gay community, something she doesn't have to do with tenacity. The only problem I have with Adele's music, although trying to be deep and meaningful, is a bit depressing but I'll have to check out more of her stuff to get a bettter idea. Suggestions?

I agree. If there were to be a vote on who the queen of music is right now, I'm pretty sure Lady Gaga would win.

I have no problem with depressing music, I actually enjoy depressing music, but Adele doesn't captivate me.

Well People's Choice Award is actually having that category this year. Queen of Pop. So far BRITNEY is winning. And thats just who should be winning right now. GaGa is good but she needs more time to get that kind of status.

There were two groups among gay music fans in the 80's. There were the Madonna fags of the gay masses and then there was a smaller group of us cooler, Siouxsie fags with much better taste in music.
