No I never have been, but I have seen a lot of porn that was set in a jail so I do consider myself somewhat of an expert. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Sometimes they're showing it and sometimes they're not. It depends on what position they are in at the time on whether or not they are showing it.

    Only to visit my ex-boyfriend=loser

Hence, question #1 on dating now: Do you have a felony or been to prison?

i dont have a felony because my "crimes" dont equate to the civilian world and then 4 years after i thought it was all done the court of appeals granted a mistrial and i was resentenced to 6 months (5 after good time) which isnt normally a felony in the real world by time standards

I'm in England and have been in Army Jail here. Joined when I was 18 and decided the Army wasn't for me. A year later I went AWOL and ended up doing 3 months in MCTC Colchester. Was tough enough but it was like basic training all over again but they treated you like you were a loser. Marched everywhere, inspections all the time and everything had to be top notch or you'd get punished for it. Had to earn everything - a small bit of free time, getting a radio (a big treat), being allowed to smoke. I knew I was gay back then but definitely wasn't out and had no plans on letting anybody know about it.

I'm 26 now and with my bf for 3 years and am up in court and have my sentencing in 2 weeks. Have been told to expect 2-3 years in prison. My bf has stood by me all through this and he hyas told me that we will get through all this and I hope we will. I am worried that being gay in prison is going to be tough and how I'll get treated by the guards and the other inmates. I'm not camp and can handle myself but I don't know if it would be easier not to say that I was gay. For the people on here who have been inside how were you treated if you told people you were gay?

From what I've been told about prison here it's different to what I've heard about prison over there. I know it will be hard but I plan on sticking by my bf and have no interest in anybody else. I've made some mistakes in life but he definitely isn't one of them.

yeah for assault which was bull. the ass whole took the first punch and i responded. but guess the court frowns on breaking several bones and dislocating several disks in his back. long story short not fun being in jail (a week) then we had it appealed, can only imagine millitary jail is worse.

you're the same guy that was complaining about how there isnt enough gangster rap and hiphop at gay clubs. now you bring up prison. man, it must be hard knock life in Abbotsford, Canada.

i thought me growing up in east LA and living in Oakland was bad.

I was arrested last year for possession of marijuana. icon_redface.gif

Not a big deal, though. I spent the night in jail, had to pay some relatively minor fines and did 16 hours community service.

Jail wasn't exciting at all. It was just a local station and I was by myself the whole time, save other cops.

    Pretty lame experience overall. icon_wink.gif

Only once...in Texas of all places LOL. And it was a very 'mild' jail. I stayed for about 16 hours, kept my clothes and reading glasses on LOL. Met a fine Puerto Rican guy who beat up his girlfriend LOL.

Happened nearly a year ago...I got arrested for 'making a scene' because I'd gotten so fed up with a friend (just a friend, nothing more) taking clean advantage of me. I broke a wine bottle on the porch and demanded he come fight me like a man.

Funny thing is, he assaulted me...I didn't. I got wrote up for trespassing. Til this day I still haven't been convicted. Because the people responsible lied 3 times in the police report. 3 times!

I REFUSE to be a statistic of the system. Some people even say, "once you go to jail, you keep on going back. I denied all plea bargains, even though I've had to drive over 900 miles last month to attend the court date...which didn't even proceed! icon_evil.gif They pushed it back.

But I don't care. My record is squeaky clean and I don't care how long it takes, I am not going to plea no contest or guilty to something that I didn't do. They invited an angry person over to their home, they need to take responsibility for it.

I opted to be separated from the main population because I was gay. Why? People in jail scare me! I didn't want to be around a bunch of unpredictable crazies. There was only 1 or 2 other guys with me and that was fine enough.
