Cobian flip flops right now at the computer, my around-the-house footwear.
Yesterday I wore New Balance walkers with socks to the Palm Beach PrideFest in the afternoon, but Teva leather sandals without socks to visit a neighbor when we got back home. Later at 7 PM I wore socks again with Timberland deck shoes/moccasins to go to a Chinese restaurant with friends, because I had on long pants for the first time all day. The evening ended back in flip flops at home.
Changing shoes all day is very typical for me, partly because I get bad foot odor if I wear anything for more than a few hours, despite using sprays & powders. It must be the Florida weather, which is why I seldom wear closed shoes except for a max of 2 or 3 hours, the rest of the time in open sandals & flip flops. Loose-fitting footgear also bothers my arthritis less, whereas traditional snug shoes can leave my foot joints howling in pain.
