You meet a guy online. His profile and pictures are hot, so you meet for coffee.

When you meet him, what unexpected things turn you on? I'm talking about something he says or does or has...or maybe a physical characteristic you don't see in photos.

    I'll go first.

I look at hands and nails. I get turned on if his fingernails are manicured...and maybe a bit long, set off by something he's wearing around his wrist. I don't know why...maybe it tells me he's sensual and sex with him would be hot, maybe even slightly kinky.icon_wink.gif

    I've had this in person...

Usually what they say has more of an affect on my thought process than what they look like.

Sure, one guys' teeth were like, "Meh..." but him talking about going out with friends to a bar or club once or twice a month is "desperate" to him... triple majored... made me sickened when he asked if I "was intimidated" by him. And to boot, not being really physically attracted put a cap on that.

You got that right. It's like meeting a guy and chatting for a while...then he casually mentions something he learned in his Scientology class. The evacuation buzzer goes off. Time to politely leave and run away as fast as you can.

    1. His undivided attention. If he's checking other guys out wouldn't that piss you off?!

    2. The way that he looks at you. Yeah you know what I'm saying. It's a look with interest and eager, in a non-creepy way, of course.

    3. His trying to impress you. It's the little things like opening doors for you, calling the waiter for you, topping off your wine for you. That would really earn brownie points in my book. Err no pun intended.

I love when a guy is built just right and knows how to buy a shirt so that his body fills in the shirt perfectly... major turn-on.

Another is neat forearm hair... Not manicured by any means, just naturally not too thick or dark. Forearms tend to be especially nice in the summer when the sun lightens the hair a bit.

That last ones kinda weird, I realize. But hey, a turn-on is a turn-on...

I couldn't agree more. I never check out ANYBODY because I figure it's just plain rude. If he checks out other guys, I figure he's either a man whore or crass.

Yeah, I dated a guy who had the most beautiful, almond shaped eyes.

    Women were jealous of him...lol.

Oh, I don't think it's weird. When you're dating a guy, it's those things that are icing on the cake. ;-)

I'm going to agree with you on the arm hair thing..it's kinda a turn-on seeing some nicely shaped arms with a nice coating of sun-blonded arm hairs

    1. Ditto. It's classless. It becomes a write off.

    2. When you can tell someone is digesting what you are saying, it means a HUGE amount. because hotness fades. if he is LISTENING, it's hugely flattering that someone is regarding you as person and not as a piece. it's nice to waste your time talking if you're just going to be glossed over.

    3. #2 impresses me more than little things, but they are nice too.

Things that turn me on when we meet.

    1-eye contact when we talk.

2-when we leave, we both feel that we know about each other. I don't feel like I know everything about him and he knows nothing about me.

3-he is genuinely interesting. has done interesting things, been interesting places and knows interesting people.

    4-he smiles a lot.

5-extra points if he makes me laugh and vice versa.

6-he makes me proud to be with him. and vice versa.

What does manicured arm hair look like? icon_confused.gif

I have OCD and one of my things is that I'm always fixing my arm hair so that it's all facing the right direction lolol, I hate it when my arm hair is messy, it's like I can feel how messy it is.

    Major turn on...He's aging well.

George Clooney will hit 50 in two months. He is hotter than ever. Brad Pitt is late 40's. I know these guys were hot to begin with, but they take care of themselves and have even enhanced their looks. I think with smoking, booze, drugs, sun, poor diet, etc...and they'd have guts, double chins and lizard skin.

Uh, Brad Pitt is still good-looking, but not as good-looking as he could be if he had not spent most of his life smoking.
