I went into Melting Pot a regular sized homo, and came out 90 minutes later looking like Aretha Franklin's albino stepdaughter. I think I'm going to be sick...

Actually, Miss Aretha lost a lot of weight recently due to her illness, so you may have to model after a new stepmother... icon_wink.gif

(Fortunately I can never eat at Melting Pot. Hooray for Lactose Intolerance! icon_biggrin.gif)

I had never heard of this place (it isn't around where I live) so I looked it up.

I see how you'd balloon outwards after a night here. Was the food good at least? I'm sure once you digest it you'll deflate to being a regular sized again.

I think I need to go back there at some point if they have increased their food portions that much, have been twice before and had a three course meal that was not very filling.

I don't even order their main courses any more. It doesn't help that much of their dipping choices are "all you can eat". Just order an appetizer and salad next time.

    Melting Pot....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Sounds like you need a Snicker's Bar to get rid of that divalishness...oh, wait, that's contradictory to how you got there in the first place....hmm.

Always hated cheese fondue. My theory is that it is one of two dishes invented by the Swiss - the other being muesli - you have to constantly alternate them to counteract each other.

Now, fondue Bourguignon, however, is delicious though probably no healthier (chunks of deep fried steak)...happy days.

Sitting down to a cheese fondue in Paris a Frenchman kindly told us that we must drink wine with cheese fondue or it will make us sick. Everyone who drank was fine that eve and the next morning. The three tea-totalers amongst us appeared chartreuse in the morning, 3 hours late for work!

my sister in law keeps wanting up to go to Melting Pot.
