I know majority of critics disliked the new film "Sucker Punch", and a lot of people coming out of the theater seemed to agree, but I enjoyed it quite a bit myself. It was consistent with the other works from Zack Snyder; grim storyline, heroic protagonists and their loyal supporting characters, much exaggerated action scenes, very imaginative special effects, and visually pleasing cast members and their outfits. Most fans of Zack Snyder's films, I am sure, would enjoy this movie as well as I did.

One of the things I enjoyed the most about the movie is its amazing soundtrack. There were some songs that were incorporated into the movie that made the cinematic experience all the more enjoyable. Here are two memorable ones:

Yeah, I don't know why people are harsh on this movie. It seemed pretty obvious to me that it was intended to be a mindless action movie. Haven't seen it yet, but will probably wait till it's on Netflix or something.

And I have to say, that was an awful cover of the Pixies. Same with Eurythmics. Here is the original..

I loved this movie. Give it a solid B+. If you liked Watchmen you will probably like this one. I love Snyder's style. The action scenes much better than most hero movies. In fact I would love it if Marvel had similar action scenes rather than the boring effects they seem to use. I think the problem with Marvel is that it tries to appeal to a broad audience and humanize the whole movie. I like comics because they are fantasy, I want my comic themed movie to be about action and atmosphere, a fantasy, not bogged down in drivel like Spiderman 2 and 3 got. Movie kept my interest the whole time. Story and plotline was easy to follow if you reminded yourself its a fantasy comic kind of movie. Soundtrack excellent especially the Tomorrow Never Knows song and the Bjork one.

Do not get the harsh critical reviews. This movie blows away Battle LA which I had very high hopes for being another District 9 but turned out to be a dumb downed typical Hollywood cliche action movie. One of the worst movies I have ever seen.
