Being newly single & kinda down I just finished watching the whole Sex And the City series. It reminds me of what being single, friendships & finding love can all be about. Its ups & downs, serious but so comical.

My favorite line is when charlotte says to the others "maybe we can be each others soul mates & men can just be guys we have fun with"

I have to admit I tear up every time I see that scene and can so relate. I have some gay friends & straight girl friends that ive had for years & at some point in our lives we can relate to the different characters of the show.

Which one can you relate to the most right now?

No, no, no, no, no, no. No.

That series can only be seen in small doses (if at all). The puns quickly get to be very annoying.

If we have to pick characters based on women's shows that are really about gay men, can't we stick to The Golden Girls? Or Absolutely Fabulous? Or even The Facts of Life?

I would be a Dorothy, an Edina, or a Tootie.

Charlotte! Even though she's a gal, but her personality is very nice! I still remember the scene from S.A.T.C- the movie, where after meeting Mr. Big for the first time since the wedding, a very heavily pregnant Charlotte finally tells him "I Curse the Day You were Born" to his face. Ha ha ha! That was hilarious. My second option would be Carrie.

So Miranda. For years when I didn't follow the show and my friends had me as captive audience, I hated her character. I at some point got more into the show and after watching the whole thing I realize Miranda hits way too close to home for me in many aspects. Now I love her haha

It's hard to be one or the other, the characters were designed to represent the many facets/personalities of women.

I suppose at a push I would be a Carrie. Spend way too much on fashion, love the idea of having a Mr Big, read Vogue like it's the bible but I don't have her daring with fashion, I'm much more a sensible Miranda type in that respect.

It was so sad to see the watch the latest movie, the show used to be so well written and at least grounded in some sort of reality.

That all went out the window with the feature film budget and we were left with camp caricatures of what were very interesting women..........

This scene cracks me up so much
