Does anyone know of any that are not modern? A lot of the old Chinese weapons are pretty freaky looking.

    The Gay Bomb:

The "halitosis bomb" and "gay bomb" are informal names for two theoretical non-lethal chemical weapons, which a United States Air Force research laboratory speculated about producing, which involved discharging female sex pheromones over enemy forces in order to make them sexually attracted to each other.

It’s surprising a prototype of a bat bomb was ever even made, but it was. The idea was simple: place incendiary explosive devices on Mexican Free-Tailed Bats, lower their temperature inside a bomb so they hibernate in transit, and then release them over an enemy city to roost in the infrastructure below. At a specific time, all the bats would explode in a thousand fiery blazes, igniting fires across the city.

Please stay within the limitations of topic which does not include sexual organs or any form of monkeys. Please, no arguing the deeper meanings of this. I do love Ariodante's suggestions though. Cold, did you know they use bats also?

This is for those subtle moments:

These are used in Crouching Tiger by Michelle Yeoh in the fight scene against Zhang Ziyi, they look like defensive weapons to me, the hooks are used to yank your oponents weapon away from from them. It's on Youtube if you're interested icon_smile.gifhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1I4Moi3-g14

I watched an interesting documentary on tv a few weeks ago. One strange gadget is the "puke light." It produces high-powered random lights to make you naseous.

Here's a video from Deadliest Warrior (Spike) that makes use of the twin hook swords:

They are a very elegant weapon in my experience, but he's absolutely right in that using them well and without hurting one's self takes a lot of practice.
