I purchased an iPAD2 to use in my house or on vacation or if a friend wants to borrow it to watch movies on a business trip...etc....

I don't want to sync it to my Mac..... I don't want any of my personal stuff on the iPAD....

It looks like I can't set up a separate ITunes Account....to download movies.

    Is that true?

Theres a rumor about iOS 5 using cloud services to store your music, videos and whatever else you purchase through iTunes. Until then you have to plug your iPad to a computer in order to be able to use it but you dont have to transfer anything, just plug it in, register it and youre good to go. You can set up a separate iTunes account but you cant have more than one iTunes account running simultaneously on the same device.

Hmm... I'm planning on purchasing my next iPad solely for business use by employees. So I too, don't wan't any personal info on it.

I'm assuming that I can set up a separate user account on the office mac, with its own iTunes account, and sync it with that. But I haven't tried this.
