Why?? The only argument I've heard to support keeping her out is, basically, that she complicates things and, since she isn't a "serious" political player anyway, it's okay to keep her out in order to keep things less complicated.

I might have a teensy bit of empathy for this argument if I had any faith in the seriousness of the jokers in charge of the four major parties. Anyone seen a recent question period?

More importantly though, being undercut in this way re-enforces the idea that she isn't a serious political player. It's a bit of a catch 22, and totally undemocratic.
