I saw this movie in like a bargin bin on my DVD club website. Check out:
"Fighting Tommy Riley"

It's starting a gorgeous JP Davis as a self-destrictive boxer with a fiery temper. Eddie Jones plays a trainer with a secret past and many hidden demons (cue dramatic music). They come together as trainer and fighter to form a formidable team. The action is epic, the cinematography is unique. The story is simply beautiful and the actors deliver memorable performances.

The film has won several independent film festival awards: Official selection at LA Film Festival and San Fran Indie Film Festival, and others.

Even if you're not a boxing fan, it's a great story to follow. And if you love boxing, then you may find yourself enveloped in one of the most intriguing boxing stories told on the little big screen.

Let me know if you've seen this movie and loved it or hated it.

"The best ballet of muscle and clout I've seen in years!"

thanks for recommending this little gem!

if you want the dirt on JP Davis' real-life sexuality, i'm sorry to say he's straight. :)

I'll definitely have to check this one out. It is available for online play on Netflix which is always a good thing. Thanks for the recommendation.

I saw it on LOGO a couple of times. I'm sure it's been edited out a bit and it still runs 2 1/2 hours long......not unlike Latter Days.

I caught part of the movie on Logo, and liked it enough to buy the DVD. Glad I did, great movie. The scriptwriter and star make for great eye candy, even if he is straight.
