    Yup.
The whole "movement" was a lie from the start.

I just hope that their freak show remains front and center through the 2012 election so that the voters will be reminded of what the Republican party has become.

    Can't wait until '12!
The sign I'll be holding up in front of the polling place will say only:

Remember what they told you in '10? Remember what they did? How many jobs?

I can't wait for the Democrats to resume control of the government in 2012.

This time, they will succeed in creating their utopian society, a society where gays will get everything they want. I just know it!

I've never met anyone as fucking stupid as you.
You don't have a clue what Democrats want.
So, you just make it up as you go along.

But, you're correct on one count.
The Democrats will definitely resume control of the government after the 2012 election. The Republicans have made sure of that.

Both the democrats and the republicans need to be evicted from office. Both political parties are a terrible disgrace. They are both corrupt and they are both self serving, cold hearted bastards. It is time to vote third party.

    Sucks all the way around.

    - TEA Party candidates being subverted by the Old Guard GOP and Theonomist social conservatives

    - Old Guard GOP (primarily Bush '43 era NeoCons) itself not being terribly relevant

    - Old Guard Democrats (think Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Charlie Rangel, Dingy Harry Reid, etc.) who had more than a fair part of ruining our Republic with excessive public spending

    - Hyper-left wingers who are as nutty with their political goals as the outer fringes of a John Birch Society meeting.

    Same old stuff.

    Well said!

Fortunately, we have a moderate centrist Democrat in the White House instead of an extreme right-winger or an extreme left-winger!

The only reason he has moved to the centre-left is because his true ultra-left ideas won't wash in a centre-right nation.

    NOPE.
I know you hear that from the right-wing propaganda machine (they will say anything and they don't care if they have to rewrite history or lie) - but the fact is that Obama ran as a moderate centrist Democrat - not a far-lefty.
That's just a matter of record.
The positions he espoused as a candidate were moderate centrist views.

You're right that a "true ultra-left" candidate wouldn't have a chance of winning the presidency.
    And in 2008 - America didn't vote for a "true ultra-left" candidate.
They voted for Obama - a moderate centrist candidate.
    AND a moderate centrist president.
No matter what the liars of the right-wing propaganda machine may say.

QFT - I wish he was 1/8 the socialist firebrand that the right-wing portrays. Minimally, we'd have single payer and probably actual financial services reform including breaking up the big banks.
