I don't like tattoos at all, don't think they're sexy, rather random.

Those guys with a lot of text on their bodies always look to me as if they're planning to cheat on an exam. Or headed to the grocery store but had no paper?

But one should please ones self.

Depends on the quote, font, and placement.

It depends, I've seen some nasty script and some very beautiful script, but if it's important to the person who is wearing it, my opinion doesn't matter. I have a band of script around my forearm and people talk shit about it because they often think it says something other than what it really does. I like it, it's important to me and that's all I care about.

My tat is in cursive Greek (I'm half-Greek; didn't just pick the language at random), two words on the top of my left pec that have a very personal meaning to me.
I think if it has meaning, it shows a lot about the person (and it is always a good conversation starter if you happen to be shirtless). Plus half of having a tat and rocking it is just the confidence behind it icon_wink.gif

I agree with people that it depends. The spot matters a lot. Some places look best with words while others look better with symbols.

I may get a tattoo in the next few years. If I get it on the back of my shoulder, I will get a symbol, but if I get a bicep tattoo it will be a phrase

Tattoos are hot. I only have one on my back but the next one I get will be the word "Reason" on my left wrist, I have a few more planned but those are most likely only fantasy.

    It's correct.
I'm still deciding if I want them to be capitalized or not.

I have a Celtic cross on my left rib, it was something my dad brought back from Ireland and I liked the design. Doesn't mean as much as it did, but I don't regret it. I have thought about more, but want to make absolutely sure of what and where. My thoughts for the next one are Jouie de vivre on my inner right arm. And my sisters and I have thought of having a tat in common the summer triangle but we can't agree on the design so I refuse.
So depends on what and where...and most importantly why.

Eh- maybe he only has enough money to pay for 24 letters.
I hear "k" can be pretty expensive.

Now I'll watch as your brain clicks with, "Ahh haaa!!!" since the speck doesn't just mean a dot in time like you would think, it means specification.

My brain "pings" more than it "clicks-" but everyone's different.

I only have one, a spade on my ribs. But still want to get a nice typographical tat somewhere, sometime.

I tend to like the graphics more, but a good piece of type is also nice.

If you get script, you better mean it for life! My most recent tattoo is script running down my left rib cage: "It is better to fail in originality, Than to succeed in imitation"

Here in hawaii many of the men, especially the Hott buff guys icon_twisted.gif have polynesian sleeve tattoo, the designs could be an animal or as simple as triangles but it tells a story, or represents a certain meaning in the polynesian culture. theyre pretty cool to look at and has culture significance here, plus its great eye candy to look at when the Hot muscle guy is lifting icon_wink.gif hehehe
