Has anyone ever tried this workout? I've only been reading good reviews, but I was hoping to get some feedback from someone who has taken the challenge.

    Thanks guys!

I tried it with my ex over last summer. Went through the first workout and almost passed out. Granted, we tried it after I had been physically unkempt for 2 or so months, so I wasn't in shape, but damn it's a good work out.

Went through it. Loved it but first week nearly killed me. It got better until month two.

Lost 15 lbs. while doing it. My only problem was the time of day. I was only able to do this in the mornings because the afternoons are dedicated to writing and I get really, really lazy afterwards.

OMG - I'm on the second week of this program and it is kicking my ass! I mean, I thought I was in fairly decent shape but I have yet to make it through a single workout without having to stop anywhere from 3 to 6 times to catch my breath and let my heart rate come down a bit.

My question is whether there is anyone out there who can actually make it through an entire workout without taking a break? I mean, not even Shaun T. does the whole thing because he stops to give pointers on form. Also, I'm not sure I've seen a single participant in the DVD, who hasn't stopped for a breather at some point.

Also, I was thinking about asking on the BeachBody Insanity site, but were any of you guys who finished the entire program still struggling with the month one workouts when it was time to start the month two workouts where things get harder?

This really is probably the hardest series of workout DVDs around! icon_eek.gif

I'm on week two and it is truly Insane! I've already seen some results only after one week. I can take my belt in one loop. We'll see how it all pans out but so far so good. I say give it a try...

I love workouts like this. so challenging and rewarding.
    .My concern is:
what happens after a few months?
Do you cycle through a few workouts in a 6 month period,
It seems to me, the injury rate will be high unless periodization is implemented.

Personally I hate a workout I can press pause on

ive done it for 9 months now. and i cycle through all the workouts, and add in p90x...

i found that i pick my workout based on my feeling that day.. and, there are certain moves i like more, and some i dont do,,(knee injury),

also you can intensify any portion of any workout by mastering the "form" of the move.. ie, make push ups deeper, or jump higher, etc..

its truly worth at least doing the 2 month trial. you will be in the best shape, and addicted..

    just keep pushing play.

and dont overdo it,, think about tomorrows workout...
