I don't think this is really surprising. We all know there have been gays from the beginning of time.

But how do we know for sure he was a caveman? There are mummies in the Milwaukee Public Musuem that were dated as being mummified 6,500 years ago and they were described as normal people. lol Some of these mummies were proven to be infants and died young. Did normal people revert back to cavemen later in history? I still can't get that mummy with a mummified boner out of my head. lol

How did he manage to keep his erection after he died? I figure after you die, any erection would go flaccid immediately with no blood pumping in him. I am really puzzed by that mummified boner.icon_lol.gif

That's one thing I really appreciated with the mummy exhibition is rather than state it as fact, they conditioned almost all of their statements with "this is what we think, but we have no way of knowing for sure." I can accept statements better when they do that because I don't believe anyone can really know for sure, just from a mummy you found, unless you actually knew that person. Maybe the people who buried him thought he was gay, but he was not. There's all kind of possibilites that can enter the picture on why they found him buried the way he was. But because there are gays today, it's pretty safe to say there have always been some gays in the world.

That is very interesting that sexual orientation was kept in mind (respectfully?) even in the beginning of civilization.

This article gives the picture of the skeleton. I always had the impression that all dead have always been buried lying supine. But perhaps these people viewed death as just a continuation of sleep.

The grave is awfully cramped. My ghost would be scared out of its mind.
