How much liquid do you drink every day? 'Cuz dehydration can cause constipation.

I'm always bashful about taking psyllium, because I read that it can interfere with the absorptions of whatever vitamins & supplements I take, and I can never get the timing down right.

For me, I seem to get that bloated feeling only when I eat too much starchy carbs.

Stay away from Metamucil or any of the similar off-brands. They are expensive and loaded with sugar. There are often sugar free options, but they are even more expensive. I buy a big can of whole pure psyllium husk at Whole Foods for about $7. It doesn't taste pretty, but it doesn't need to.
