Results at the gym, question

    Hi guys, I have a question for those that had results in the gym.

    I work out 1 hour everyday monday to friday rest on the weekends

    Im trying to define my body even try to grow some muscle.

    I usualy eat:

    before workout I eat a natural iogurt with fruit

    after, some protein, and oat meal coffee

    for lunch soup and salmon or turkey breast with with vegetables and fruit

    afternoon fruit or sandwich and coffee

    night chicken or turkey or salmon and soup

    snack: tea and some toast

    my question is, how do you know, is the weight you're gainnig is from muscle growing or fat?

    I dont know if my question sounds stange, but I was fat in the past then I correct my self, and start eating the right food, now Im very thin, I still dont have much preception about how my body looks, or how it should look.

    should I eat more, less

    Where the growth takes place. Since you were once over weight, you know where that shows up, how it feels, and what it looks like in the mirror. Muscle will look and feel different.
