    That really freaked me out.. I never thought it would happen in my country. You hear about it from other countries, which is ofcourse just as bad but when it happens in your own country it's just different..

    i do think people in NL are generally better educated and have better access to (mental) health treatment which would reduce the likelihood of this type of incident. that said, the US does not have a monopoly on crazy people.

    Unfortunately in this modern world of today, there is no such thing as a perfectly safe place. Violent crime can occur and does occur everywhere. icon_sad.gif

    Well I don't think it ever happened in The Netherlands before... so I guess we do have a good health treatment for crazy people. And ofcourse guns aren't as accesible here as in the USA.
