Barack Obama has signed into law a temporary spending Bill averting a US government shutdown.

Leaders of the American Democrats and their newly empowered Republican foes clinched the agreement including $36 billion of "extra" spending cuts, barley an hour before the government effectively ran out of money.

Well many of us down here in Oz are still asking of Obama "WHERE the bloody hell are ya"? After he promised to come down twice and was always a no show, even after all he had cost us, and the inconvenience to the people of NSW, who had their city in shut down for nothing; twice.

Now if can't afford to bloody come.

If there is a lesson learned from this budget cat fight is the way to go is compromise with the left. Thats a disaster. The left is not going to compromise on it's core beliefs.

US deficit up 15.7% in the first half of fiscal 2011.

The president can own this.........But he'll blame Ex president Bush.

But of course He blames Ex President Bush for everything. One expects to read any day now that Obama has discovered that Bush was responsible for his father deserting him.
