How much are you willing to spend (e.g., is it above $5K, $10K, etc.) and what types of of timepieces are you interested in (e.g., chronometer, tourbillon, complications, chronograph, moonphase, etc.)? I'm an avid collector of high-end, investment-grade luxury watches and can provide some really good suggestions if you're really serious about this. Some very high-quality brands are A. Lange A. Sohne, Audemars Piguet, Glashutte, Jaeger Le-Coultre, Oficina Panerai, Ulysse Nardin, Vacheron Constantin,, etc.--depends on your budget.

I'm trying to spend under $25,000 I love tourbillon but I've looked at some that are way over my spending limit right now I was looking at some Ulysse and Hublot, the more and more I look at Hublot the more and more I like their watches.

All i know is that Rolex, even the real kind from the store, keep crappy time. They are pretty, but they are not good watches.

I like watches though, I've received them over the years as gifts from my parents or watches I've been able to buy and I like them but I have a (2)Rolex, Movado, Tiffany & Co., Hugo Boss. Brands that are well known, I want to get into the serious watches like the ones Dominus is talking about I've been researching them and there are some beautiful timepieces out there.

If you have such other watches already, perhaps you need to express yourself in a different way?

BTW, my family founded Little Falls, incorporated in the 1860s. My Dutch ancestors came over from Montclair (originally Speer Town, after my great-great great... Jan Speer) and settled it in the previous century. The old town hall, before the new one was built, was my great-great-grandfather's livery stable.

What?!? that's crazy!! and awesome all at the same time I'm actually not from Little Falls, I'm from North Caldwell which is the town over but it wasn't listed when I signed up so I chose to go with a close one. Regardless that's a great story, small world.

Yea I could I guess, I was just trying to make the watch collection a little bigger, was also thinking about a small sailboat but I don't know how to sail and do not have the time right now to go learn unfortunately.

Tag Heuer makes some nice watches. I like Mont Blanc for old fashioned solidity Movado for style.
