I'll never go back to my old iPhone. My Thunderbolt gets download speeds of 12 meg/sec and uploads of 21 meg/sec! It's the bomb!

Im almost positive Apple will support 4G LTE on their new iphone coming up this year, until now it just didnt make any sense since 4G coverage was and still is pretty limited. The other thing too is that you can set up your iphone as a wifi hotspot to be used by your computer or ipad but 3G speed isnt good enough for tethering to an iPad let alone a PC, I think the upgrade is inevitable so its just a matter of waiting a few months.

Now that more people are using it, download speeds can be as low as 5 meg/sec, but uploads are still over 21 megs. It's still the bomb.

Well, I don't know everything I've read says that Apple will NOT have 4G speeds on iPhone 5, but will at least have a 4.3" screen to compete with higher end droids. Apple has a history of being amongst the last to support a new protocol -- as they did with 3G.
