Partner and I are heading to Vancouver,BC for a 4-day first time visit. We want to walk all day and just get to know the city.

From the gay areas to the cool artsy spots....and the pretty Nature areas, what do you recommend?

Also my partner is vegetarian so if you can suggest a fun place for veg foods, we'll be even happier. Thanks.

    Great links yourname2000!

    I loooooooveeee me some Van!!!!!
Stanley Park is a day in itself...hike, bike..amazing views of the Harbour and English bay and acres of unspoiled wilderness. West End/Davie Village and Gastown have tons of indie clubs, eateries, shops and galleries. Don't waste your money on renting a car, unless you all are going to take a daytrip, because the city is very walkable and the public transit network (bus/train/ferry) is top notch. There is also a HUGE farmers market with lots of local artists, eats and nightclubs on Granville Island...a quick boat ride from burrard street or quick walk across the Granville bridge.
