So, I'm trying to budget in a messenger bag for summer. I've been looking around since Feb. and the one at SAKS is unavailable online in the color I want (SAKS is good about tracking things down though). Regardless I am open to new suggestions.

-Yes I know a messenger bag makes me look gay.

    Any suggestions?

Sucking dick or fucking a dude makes you look gay.
A messenger bag makes you look organized...unless it's cluttered inside. icon_razz.gif

Coach has a few nice ones, I really like the grey canvas ones. (online) or a store that has mens bags.

If I were on a budget, I'd get one on ebay. Otherwise, I'd get a Tumi.

I love Saddleback Leather--I have the messenger bag, briefcase, duffel, luggage, backpack, etc.). The material is super strong boot leather and the craftmanship is A+. It's also very masculine, if that matters to you. Here's a link to their website: http://www.saddlebackleather.com/?icc=adwords0904&gclid=COWwgLyjoqgCFUNd5Qodu0Fp9g

I've been more than happy with my Timbuk2 bags. I got the Classic model years ago and it's really durable and roomy. I recently picked up the Commute 2 laptop bag and it's a good briefcase substitute.

    Are you a messenger ?
    No ?
    Then, it's a purse.
    Not criticizin', just sayin'.

I think I passed syphilis on to a few guys once. Does that make me the messenger?

I saw two guys on a date yesterday and one of them had this with him:

It looked really cute on him.

I also like this one. Less gay but equally stylish I think.

LV is so damn bulky. The reason I want a messenger bag is to minimize the things that I carry. This is the one I wanticon_smile.gif It fits ME better.

    I have this: http://www.jackspade.com/shop/product.php?productid=20355&cat=351&sku=NYRU0369_400

Marc Jacobs has a couple of good ones that you can find at Bloomingdale's.

Oh, and there's nothing gay about a messenger bag. Every man in New York's got one.

The fonzie glace would look amazingly sharp with a prada or valentino suit. Perfect for going to work or more formal occasion. The Damier is a bit more low key and also more diverse I think. Someone's got great (and highclass) taste and style. Gotta respect that. icon_smile.gif

That's actually a Roots bag he's carrying, which I'm sure was designed for women. I have one of their smaller men's bag as I have far too much to carry, ie Epi pen, cellphone, wallet.

    Yeah, it's a purse.icon_lol.gif

I carry a bag when I'm working. I appreciate how it holds all my crap. A phone, an Ipad, almonds, etc. Nothing worse than bulging pockets.

I have a Prada and a really nice Tumi.
