Which is the city of homophobias?

I think its Seoul, South Korea.

I was there for few days....god I was shocked.

It's not that people were bad,

but they seemed really hate gay people.

Surprised I guess. I'd think you'd pick just about any city in the middle east, but gay folks probably don't live long enough to talk about it.

I can't speak to world-wide, but when I left Paris, Tx., it was pretty awful...

San Antonio, Texas is pretty bad. In fact, so is most of Texas, except a small portion of Houston, and downtown Austin. Arizona is lethal to gays (there is a documentary film about it a friend of mine made), and of course I'd be on my guard in all the Bible Belt States, to include the Florida panhandle.

On the other hand, surprising oases are Omaha, Nebraska, and Minneapolis, Minnesota. The OP is in Seattle, which is very gay-friendly, but he has to realize that's the exception in the US.

Korea is just not the place for gays. I have family there and they ALWAYS bash on gay people [it makes me sad]. But yeah, i'm really happy I don't live there or else I think I might have already committed suicide. Seattle is pretty nice but i'm glad to get out of here as well. Obviously cities like NYC, LA, SF, Portland, Philadelphia, and any other BIG major cities have gay-friendly places.

Any city in Uganda is a bad place for gays. They are actively looking to execute gays.

Anywhere in Africa, maybe not South Africa, anyway the whole radical Islam and radical Christian convergence, the one thing they can agree on is hating gays.

Would BananaSucker care to enlighten us as to why he perceived the residents of Seoul, a mega-city of 10 million people, to "really hate gay people"?
