So I just broke down and bought microwave meals, a huge cheesecake, soda, more microwave meals, beer, chips, and did I mention the microwave meals? I also bought 2 packs of cigarettes, which came to $21 on their own. icon_cry.gif

I also had Wendy's earlier today, which is the first fast food I've had all year and got an enormous Coke with it, which was the first soda I've had all year.

I have 3 projects and 3 tests this week and then next week, I have another test and another project.

I don't know how you guys can be so healthy, even when you're stressed.

I am bad about this with Chinese for some reason. I just spike it with ALOT of chilli sauce so it gets too hot really quick. Kinda like a backdoor defense mechanism. If I eat too much I will usually sweat it out and stay the fuck away from it for a while.

Proper nutrition isn't about suppressing cravings, it's about re-programming yourself to crave things that are better for you. I crave yogurt with nuts and raisins and that tastes like a fulfilling treat (and it's actually not particularly low in calories, mind you). Fast food can taste good on the rare occasion, but I don't crave it. It'd be horrible if I had a deep craving I forced my body to deny.

How do you reprogram yourself to "crave" better? Damned if I know! icon_razz.gif I think what happened is I first went overboard in an unhealthy way (From now on only fruits, vegetables, water and chicken!) and forced myself to subsist on that for an extended while. After going through that things like yogurt or whole wheat bread seemed like blessed treats, which I now eat regularly.

In the past week I've been to McDonald's 3 times and A&W once.

McDonald's 1: Big mac combo and an oreo muffin.
McDonald's 2: Medium fries, medium coke, large Cadbury creme egg McFlurry
McDonald's 3: Big mac combo with large fries
    A&W: Double teen burger combo.

I have horrible pig outs but it's like three times a year!

I just had one last night! Cereal (Kellogs is so good), olives, bits of cheese, rice pasta salad, huge donut, pho (so good lol), nachos, and yogurt....I feel so bloated. I honestly hate letting myself do this but it's nice every once in a while but for the most part I like being healthy and not purge out on food. Feeling bloated is just yucky and I have to run it off.

Don't worry buddy I binge sometimes two. I'm trying to lose 20 pounds and I've been struggling with it for the past few month. It's kind of hard so I feel your pain. Just don't let small things like this discourage you. Please stay away from the ciggs icon_rolleyes.gif

    +infinity!
I used to be able to save money before I got in shape.
Now I'm literally paycheck2paycheck due to my food budget alone.

hahaha if the situation is terrible I'm at risk to blow money on whatever - I'm lucky if it's food because then the amount I spend is limited with how much food I can stuff in me. Usually cologne, more shirts, random cleaning supplies, or whatever random items I somehow figure I need gets purchased. It's pretty bad.

When I get stressed, I lose my appettite. That is bad when you are 5'7" and 230 lbs. It takes a lot of calories just for me to maintain.

I try to get 350-400 grams of protein a day... that is like a second job to me.
