What is the logic behind guys who make profiles with photos but absolutely no self description absolutely mad at you for commenting on their attractiveness when you message them. What are you supposed to say.

"I love the minimalistic approach you've taken to filling out your profile. You clearly put a lot of thought into it?"

Completely agreed with Yourname2000 here, I've seen the best filled out profiles anywhere, then when you try to talk to the guy, they're completely rude.

Just go with how people treat you. icon_smile.gif

It certainly defeats the purpose to join a social networking site when you clearly have no social skills and decline to network....

Oh well, his lose..... Keep doing what your doing.... icon_smile.gif

    Yes, it is weird.

Its like those profiles that you see on Grindr that simply state "Your one word approach shows your lack of interest, as does my one word reply."

Gee, buddy, you have given us so much to go off of to socialize now havent you?

Everybody has a different reason for being here.

Guys who are looking to snag a husband or a friend, or if they're just here to take part in the forum discussions will, most likely, each provide very different amounts and types of information on their profile pages.

And, each of us has a different level of expertise at adequately representing ourselves.

My response is pretty much rote at this point.

"Thank you for the flattering email/words/images/message. I'd love to strike up a dialogue, but frankly you give me nothing to work off of, and my mind reading powers suck at this distance."
