So i just began watching this show, im in the middle of season 2 and am addicted! So far there are 2 things i can't quite wrap my head around to understand completely..

First, how come Brian & Michael never have sex or date each other if they love each other so much & that seems to be what Michael wants because he's in love with Brian. Whenever Brian wanted to have sex, Michael said no. But yet they still kiss each other and we can clearly see they love one another. Are they afraid of what might happen to their friendship if they do become a couple?

Second, what exactly about Justin made Brian change and start to fall in love with him/date him. Brian couldn't deal with Justin being so attached in the beginning & seemed annoyed by him. As the season went on, he seemed to always protect him and break all his rules for Justin. What was it about Justin that made Brian change, like if Justin could do it why couldn't Michael?

Uh, they were just characters o_O There's no definitive answer, human relations are just complicated. They don't follow a pattern, rhyme or reason.

when you take into consideration that "QAF" is just a gay version of a daytime soap opera (but a very well done one!); their relationship makes more sense.

You're only in Season 2. You find out more as the series goes on. Especially because the series lets you draw your own conclusions on the characters personalities while releasing tidbits of what choices they make.
