Why do people post recipes on here they find online?

I'm tired of asking for recipes and getting something from another site. If I ask for a good Spicy Honey-BBQ sauce, or a orange braised chicken recipe I'll look online first, and then come here if I can't find what I want, or want a more personal recipe.

Is there anyone on here that has their own recipes?

You have 8 posts. Did you get tired of asking after the 7th try?
    Maybe you quit too easily.

There was a thread just the other day on liquid tuna. You are so fucking ungrateful.

I know just how you feel. I'm tired of sharing my incredible recipes with an ungrateful world. Sometimes life is so unfair.

OMG really? Well first thing is that you may find the same recipe but if someone has made it and likes it, that's a good reference. If you're looking for people that create their own recipes (IE: tuna shake) then you should specify that. Many of us use cookbooks and the internet for our sources and then share those recipes because they turn out to be outstanding like the Steakhouse Brochette with basil and blue cheese I just finished making. icon_twisted.gif

I love looking for recipes on the internet especially reading the comments on it because you get great tips from people who actually made it before. However, I almost never follow a recipe to a T, but I always throw in something I think will go well with it. Granted, sometimes it turns out great, and sometimes it doesn't, but it's a lot more fun to put your own twist to a recipe to make it even better.
