Join the movement because a world where a billion people live in chronic hunger is unacceptable.
A hungry person is weak. Tired. Unable to concentrate, study or work. Hunger leads to illness. The body starts to feed on itself, eventually leading to starvation and death.

There's a growing movement of people who are outraged by the situation. What about you?

Click this address guys, and sign the petition. It is only going to take little time of your own

Last year while I was off work a couple months with back problems, I faced "true" hunger. The only way I could get the bills paid was to reduce to one meal a day, or every other day. When I finally started working again, the first thing everyone noticed was how "sick" I looked. When they asked what was wrong, I told them. Even then, I still had to wait till the paydays started before I could start eating normal again.

That said, I will never donate to some cause to end hunger. I had to end mine myself, so now I'm jaded enough to let others do the same. Call me mean. I call it "survival." icon_wink.gif

Paul, this is not to donate money.
You guys, US is not a third world country.

To where I come from, and many other countries in Latinamerica, Africa, Middle Eastern, there's people who are dying out of hunger. People who are in extremely poverty.

I understand we ALL go through hard, very hard times due to the economy. I mean, I'm a student, I know what it means to not have money.
But there's people in worst scenarios.

I'm just asking you guys to sign the petition and make more pressure.

An old man once told me: "If you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day. If you TEACH a man to fish, he will never go hungry again."

If signing petitions would rid the world of hunger I'm pretty sure we would've eradicated hunger a long time ago.

I've worked to end hunger as a former job. This thread and this petition will do nothing but make westerns feel like they have achieved something, when all that will have happened is a few electrons will be inconvenienced.

As long as women who can't afford to feed their children keep pooping out babies, there will always be hunger.

i'm not much of a feminist, but really, that's quite a misogynist statement considering that women don't generally have the final say in regards to birth control and family planning in non-western countries and lower income groups within western countries.
