I have never eat candy (as much as I would love to). I have fitness goals I am determined to meet! However, with Easter being here I just bought Cadbury Easter Eggs and Starburst Jelly Beans. I just want to pig out on all of it! I tried not to eat buy them but I have an insatiable sweet tooth and I LOVE candy!!

I'm afraid to set myself back.

What are you guy doing, if anything, to curb the resistance to eat too much candy?

I'm eating phentermine out of a PEZ dispenser. It gives the illusion I'm eating candy, but the jokes on everyone else.

    Side effects
Generally, phentermine appears to be relatively well tolerated.[6] It can produce side effects consistent with its catecholamine-releasing properties, e.g., tachycardia (increased heart rate) and elevated blood pressure, but the incidence and magnitude of these appear to be less than with the amphetamines. Because phentermine acts through sympathomimetic pathways, the drug may increase blood pressure and heart rate. It may also cause palpitations, restlessness, and insomnia. Additionally, phentermine has the potential to cause psychological dependence.

    More common
    Insomnia
    Lactic acidosis
    Hypertension
    Irritability
    Nervousness
    Euphoria
    Dry mouth
    Unpleasant taste
    Blurred vision
    Heartburn/Acid reflux
    Increased libido in females
    Clumsiness
    Confusion
    Diarrhea
    Dizziness
    Headache
    Arrhythmia
    Nausea or vomiting
    Psychosis
    Skin rash or itching
    Stomach pain
    Fatigue
    Pupil dilation
    Increased Thirst

    Less common
    Convulsions (seizures)
    Fever
    Hallucinations
    Hostility with urge to attack
    Irregular blood pressure
    Lightheadedness or fainting
Periods of mania followed by period of depression
    Tremors, trembling or shaking
    Overactive reflexes
    Panic
    Restlessness
    Severe nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
    Stomach cramps
    Weakness

I curb the easter candy temptation by having easter be a meaningless non-event which I fail to observe in any way =D!

Without it people go back into the same old habits.

    You're thin.
A little candy binge won't kill you.

Your first mistake was bringing it into the house.

    Everybody deserves a treat.

    I almost never crave candy.
But, I could live on cookies.
So, I don't bring them into the house.
