Is it Chinese dishes and Mexican dishes or is it Chinese/Mexican fusion?

    Eeew.

The curse of the DC area is the "Pan Asian" restaurant - Chinese, Korean, Thai, Japanese, etc. all in one mediocre glop. Ugh. Like going to a "Pan Western" restaurant - tacos, wienerschnitzel, coq au vin and spaghetti all in one.

Nothing new. Here in LA, we got plenty of joints here that serve Chinese, Mexican, American food, and donuts. icon_lol.gif

Saw a restaurant in Geilo, Norway a few years back where the sign said, "Chinese-Norwegian Dinner, pizza and hamburgers."

The parking lot was not crowded....

That's a dangerous combination. Not only will you fart fireballs, but you'll be hungry again in 30 minutes, making you fart even more.

Chinese/Mexican exists? Aren't those like complete opposites?

I used to live with a latino roommate and a chinese roommate and we could never agree on anything to eat...
The chinese roommate hated all dairy and the latino roommate warded off any kind of grain or vegetable unless it was a tortilla or spicy as hell. I can't imagine that being a successful fusion, but I guess don't knock it till you try it...

Instead of Tex-Mex is it Tex-Chin? What did you order -- Sweet & Sour Pork Burrito? icon_eek.gif

There's a Mexican/Salvadoran/Chinese place near me. I'm really hoping they have General Tso empanadas!
