I have holes between the legs of 3/4 of my slacksicon_cry.gif I wear through my scrub trousers in about 3 months. And summer has just begun!
What material should pants be made of that is not too hot but is sturdy enough?

I don't think a lot of people in this place have fat thighs. Maybe you should try a women's forum?icon_lol.gif
You should also exercise to lose fat and lay off the food a bit.

Yea, when I played football in high school the coaches would make me wear 2 backpacks full of books and run up and down the stadium. Everyone undercuts my weight by about a good 30 lbs because they haven't seen me do my underwear leg flex (which I totally love to do).

Yea, its just something you get used to. I swear, if I am sitting someplace hot for more than 20 minutes my balls sweat like no tomorrow.

There are pro's and con's with everything.

Well the issue is that when you have bigger legs your balls sweat A LOT. If you were wearing pajama's it could be worse depending on how hot they get. I sometimes have holes around the crotch but I totally have to watch out because I haven't worn underwear going on 4 years.

Other than that I just usually wear shorts.

I hate it when I have to toss a great pair of jeans, just because I rubbed holes into them between my thighs. On the other hand, I love it when guys compliment me for my big legs.

It gets a lot of attention at clubs and bars and my friends always call out the fact that you can see exactly which way I hang. But what can ya do?

What do you do for the sweat? I'm in TX. The heat and the humidity causes a LOT of sweat and powder really doesn't help.

I'm really not as fat as I'm making it seem. I'm 5'8" and weigh under 160lbs usually. A lot of slacks have trouble fitting my bottom in my size-I don't like to wear tight silhouetting clothing.

I'm moving on my feet for a large part of the day and there has been a lot of walking at work recently. So I sweat. In fact, sometimes sweat prints in the seat of my cotton trousers can be seen when I wear lighter colors. So embarrassing!

But seriously, what cloth do you buy for pants? I don't have a lot of money to spare on new clothes.

What kind of underwear do you wear? It might be the cloth in the under gear that is making you sweat so much. To me, I think loose fitting cotton boxers would be good...

Well I used to live in Houston and now I live in Alabama so I understand the whole humidity thing. Also it has nothing to do with being fat, I usually stay around 190 lbs and my ribs poke out.

I actually don't do anything about it. I guess I have just become good at the humility thing. I will usually assert the fact that I am sweating my balls off and people find it quite humorous.

It is a funny feeling when you stand up and feel like your legs and ass just ironed your pants again.

    I do that too.

David, I've been wearing silk drawers so I don't wear away my scrub bottoms. But I sweat in those drawers just as I do in cotton ones.

These are my only pants that I wore regularly that have no holes. They are also my favorite:

They are EMS pants and teflon coated reinforced made of blend of polyester and cotton. They are stain resistant with 9 pockets to carry all my crap in. They also come with a belt loop and look pretty professional. The fabric is heavy but breathable.
But lately they got so much vomit/blood/feces/etc that I get disgusted just looking at them.
    I've been thinking about these:casual_kilt.jpg

Kilts are totally sexy if you can play the part. I have seen them more and more in clubs and bars here. And no, they don't wear underwear either. I actually have an Irish buddy that looks fucking adorable in em.

    DO IT!!

Haha, when I was in Texas, I actually knew a good number of people who wore kilts.
In terms of pants though, I don't really have an answer. I've been a fan of boxerbriefs but I keep having to buy new ones regularly since they get holes so easily for much the same reason.

cotton is a breathable fabric, however if you want to go a little cooler, you can always try bamboo fabrics. also if your looking for something that will last long, then i recommend your avarage denim jeans. since its summer you might wat to start wearing shorts rather than pants.

Bamboo might be an option. I still have a hoodie that my ex bought for me a few years back that is almost completely bamboo and as strange as it sounds its really comfortable and breathable for the most part. Not sure about having it in between my legs all day though.

I have a the same problem- I'm a smaller guy but bottom wise I have a big butt and thighs- maybe try a different brand of jeans dude. I wear true religions because they're a little baggier in the thighs and that helps icon_smile.gif

I wear kilts all the time, whenever Im not working. Try the Elkcomando on the Moosjaw website. You have to put in "kilt" in the search window. Its made from lightweight waterproof material simular to nylon type tents.

While I agree with this ^^^, if this isn't a possibility you can try those compression undies. My brother-in-law had the same problem, when I told him to try this and it worked for him.
