All these half naked men on this website, all with great bodies, I just have to know what on earth do you all typically eat? I'm sure most of you don't eat Taco Bell or Wendy's throughout the week. I want a general idea of what you all eat on a typical day. I want to know what goes in your mouth...AND what you want to keep out.

I've lost 15 pounds in the last three months. Here's what I eat in a day.
Breakfast: 1/2 cup wheat chex, 1/2 cup cranberry almond Post cereal, 1 banana, milk
Lunch: 1 piece of whole wheat bread with peanut butter, cup of tea, apple
Dinner: meat, veggie, carb all in portions about the size of my palm, glass water, coffee and 1 cookie
Snack: glass milk and a fruit or one cookie
Never touch fast food, avoid restaurant food, never touch soda/pop or flavored drinks
So far it's working well and I don't have cravings; but I know some folks have genes that scream for carbs and such, so I guess I lucked out on that one icon_biggrin.gif

Try healthy foods (generous amounts of protein), nutritional supplements, over-the-counter muscle builders, lots of heavy lifting, lots of sleep--and don't forget genetics.

So THAT'S what I'm doing wrong. I'm COMPLETELY naked, not just half.
Maybe if I put some clothes on I'd have a great body, too.

Well let me start by saying I dont think my body is all that spectacular but Id like to think I'm fit and a wee bit muscular. But to be honest I eat Wendy's, BK, McDonald's, greasy Chinese food etc. on the daily I just workout a lot. But not just lifting weights but Cardio that I actually enjoy like playing basketball, rugby, etc. I think the key is enjoy then it hardly seems like work.

    Actually... icon_redface.gif

But only a couple of times or less, honest!

But seriously, about 5-6 meals a day 2.5-3 hours apart. Oatmeal for breakfast with chocolate milk, peanut butter sandwich with chocolate milk, noodles and chicken with chocolate milk, another sandwich with chocolate milk, another sandwich with chocolate milk or a... chocolate protein shake before bed.

EDIT: A big part of being able to eat most of what I want is because I have a lot of muscle mass. Because of that, I run a lower risk of the food I eat not getting burned and, instead, getting stored as fat.

    I like chocolate milk... icon_biggrin.gif

I try to go by the rule that if it wasn't around 150 years ago, don't eat it. There is also the more than 5 ingredient rule under which foods with more than 5 ingredients listed should be avoided.

I try to eat as few processed foods as possible. I allow only one pop (soda) a week, and supplement with protein. My one weakness is m&ms. Otherwise it's fruit, yogurt, multigrain bread and cereal, natural peanut butter (the stir up kind), meat (whole roaster chickens i cook myself, beef, and pork roasts) and lots of water. Down to about 10% bf right now.
Hope some of this is useful to you.
    Good luck

For me its just as important what I don't put in my mouth.
No soda, HFCS, cake, white bread, sugar candies, partially hydrogenated anything, corn oil, fractionated anything, or soy.

What goes in... haha. Chicken breasts, almonds, walnuts, sweet potatoes, brown rice, bananas, oats, omega 3 caplets, whey isolate, 2% cottage cheese, 2% milk, greens, olive oil, popcorn. Oh, and Chipotle, yeah whatever, it's to good and my bowl packs 89gm protein.

Meat (beef, pork, chicken - including organ meats), veggies, nuts, some fruit, some starch (immediately post workout), no sugar, no grains (includes all breads, pastas, rice, oatmeal, etc). Supplement with whey protein immediately after heavy lift workouts, and 2000 IUs of vitamin d per day.

    Meat, potato (or rice), vegetable.
Casserole dishes, like pasta, beef stew, chili.
Breakfast is oatmeal and tea and usually a slab of panettone.

    I almost never drink sodas.
I avoid already prepared frozen dinners.
Mexican food is fine occasionally, but not often.

Chicken (grilled), pork chops (grilled), steamed vegetables, absolutely NO sugar or simple carbs. Lots of loaded salads (lettuce, black olives, green olives, cheese, bell peppers, onions) pretty much daily. Steamed cabbage, lots of egg omelets. Turkey kaboska sausage, hard cheeses, nuts (almonds mostly), sometimes vienna sausages (high in fat, but no carbs), shrimp (Grilled). Very little fats. For snacking I like pork rinds (hey, I live in Alabama). Sometimes some good home made stew (carbs, but complex type). No sweets or junk foods (other than pork rinds (gotta have some pleasure in life)..... :-)

And here I am thinking this was about oral sex icon_redface.gif

I'm surprised no one here has mentioned seafood? 2 servings a week...no way you can gain fat off of that. Plus high in protein. I choose wine over beer.

I notice though most gay guys don't eat seafood icon_rolleyes.gif

I eat eggs, tuna, apples and bananas throughout the day with a small dinner of whatever I can put together with what I have around the house, usually consisting of a small carb portion and a protein.

I avoid bread like it's the plague and have minimized my carb intake.

As long as I stick to my diet I feel very healthy.

Who eats that even if they're not on a diet?! It's an express ticket to the a cardiac surgeon's operating table. Well...maybe on cheat days it's ok to have a chicken fajita...
